Nose: Cassis, raspberry, spicy oak, deep but somewhat closed right now.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, heavyweight. Fruit is more developed on the palate than the nose, with dark berries, chocolate and spice. Rich midpalate (though more to come no doubt) and a long clean finish.
Conclusions: Big time Cab Sauv with a 10 year future is not yet showing its stuff. Best after 2009, may hold for quite a while. Richness and elegance will reward the patient collector." lfw
