Palate: Dry with good acidity, heavyweight. Rich mouthfeel, dark chocolate, spicy oak, cassis, raspberry, ripe tannins, not integrated. Long clean finish.
Conclusions: Meritage blend of about equal proportions of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Drinking this now would be a bit of a waste of money (try the CEV Merlot or the CEV Cab Franc from the same vintage if you want something for now). This will be readier sooner than the Cabernet Sauvignon, but will take longer than the Merlot." lfw
