"DATE: 04-15-07 Appearance: Light ruby with some brick at the rim.
Nose: Strawberry, sweet cherry, beet and some sweet oak on the nose, with a bit of something earthy as well.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, midweight. Palate follows the nose well, adding ripe dusty tannins midpalate as well as a hint of dark chocolate. Long clean dry finish.
Conclusions: Good value maturing pinot still has three years in front of it, developing more complexity as it goes. Try this one with some flavourful cheeses, or a nice cut of red meat, medium rare." lfw
