"DATE: 04-18-07 Appearance: Blueberry of course!
Nose: Sweet blueberry and spice aromas - but fresh berries rather than blueberry pie cooked aromas.
Palate: Off-dry with moderate acidity, midweight plus. Big blueberry fruit with spice, and a yeasty/leesy character midpalate to go with ripe tannins. Great clean dryish finish.
Conclusions: Quite dry for a fruit wine (at least as most people would expect). This would be quite suitable to asian cuisine, fowl meals with sweet fruit on the table (yes Thanksgiving turkey) and alone with a cheese tray on a summer day. Note that some people who are allergic to grape based wines can drink fruit wines without problems (consult your doctor first!)." lfw
