"DATE: 03-23-07 Appearance: Light straw.
Nose: Apple/pear with light butter and a bit of spicy oak.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, midweight. Fruit is richer and more tropical in nature on the palate than the nose suggests, some fat midpalate, softness through the good clean finish. Oak/alcohol/fruit balance is very well done.
Conclusions: Very good general-purpose white wine just happens to be made from Chardonnay grapes. This would last another two years but there is no need to hold it. Use with white wine situations in general." lfw

FROM THE PRODUCERS:"Soft, subtle aromas of green apple, pineapple and a touch of nutty oak. Ripe pear and pineapple flavours dominate with creamy vanilla notes.

Food Pairings: Grilled shrimp with garlic butter, smoked salmon and roasts.

Drink or Hold: Can be enjoyed now, but may be matured further by cellaring, depending on individual preference. Ageability 3-5 years."
