"DATE: 08-17-07 Appearance: Light ruby / blueberry.
Nose: Blueberry pie nose with a sweet and spicy vanilla overtone.
Palate: Medium with good acidity, midweight plus. Big blueberry pie flavours (it is easy to imagine a good piecrust here even!). Some creamy/doughy character then light dusty tannins appear midpalate and last into the long clean dry finish. Most definitely a fruit wine on the attack, but the finish makes you think in terms of red grape wine.
Conclusions: Unique and lively wine that could be consumed by itself (not too cold please) or served with wherever you would use off-dry riesling, gamay or light pinot. Would be interesting with the big bird at Thanksgiving..." lfw

FROM THE PRODUCERS:"Our best selling wine! The smell of fresh blueberries, sun-ripened and juicy. A refreshing red wine with a pleasing, fruity taste and fragrant bouquet of sun-kissed blueberries. This wine is extremely versatile and can be served with a variety of white and red meats, pastas, and mild cheese selections. A tasty delight for your palate. Best served slightly chilled."
