"DATE: 08-22-07 Appearance: Deep ruby/light purple.
Nose: Intense raspberry jam nose, with cassis undertones and a light herbal character.
Palate: Sweet with good acidity, heavyweight. Palate follows the nose, with a hint of dark chocolate, light tannins, rich mouthfeel and a long clean finish.
Conclusions: Not just soft and syrupy, a dessert wine with an edge. Great value in comparison to grape icewines, and does not fall short on bang for the buck. This could go ten years in a good cellar, and is sweet enough to stand beside chocolate desserts provided that the desserts are not overly sweet. Wonderful stuff indeed." lfw

FROM THE PRODUCERS:"Rush Creeks premier dessert wine. Very rich and full bodied bursting with luscious raspberry flavour and smooth raspberry essence. Traditionally served similar to an after-dinner liqueur accompanied by a rich chocolate dish such as fudge or black forest cake. Also delicious drizzled over ice cream or cheesecake."
