March 17, 2002 - 18 Tasters

This tasting was organized by the two Peterborough and area member clubs of the Amateur Winemakers of Ontario, Kawartha Krushers and Growwine. This is the first of what may become a long string of joint tastings focused on varieties or types of wine made by many members of both clubs. At the end of the tasting we agreed to do a similar event with Riesling wines, probably in the late fall.

ed note - my wines, which finished 3rd and 14th, both contained 10% Merlot / Cabernet Sauvignon grown in Peterborough... happy is we...lfw
